Parts Rationale

The GPU was chosen as the 3080 TI because while it is a few years old, it provides excellent performance still in 1440p. It has 12gb of VRAM, which is the same as the 5070, and is enough for 1440p gaming now and into the future. To compare it to modem generation GPUs, the 3080 TI preforms equal to a 4070, and in-between a 5060 Ti 16gb and a 5070. You also get the benefits of an Nvidia card, being DLSS, superior ray tracing performance, and longer driver support. As a note, this GPU is 3 years old, but I have repasted it and replaced the thermal pads on it to provide much better thermal performance. Along with a complete testing of the GPU means it should be good to go for quite a few more years into the future!

For the CPU I chose the 7500f because it is the best price to performance CPU on the Am5 socket. It has 6 cores and 12 threads, and is very powerful, preforming better than all Am4 CPU's other than the 5700x3d and the 5800x3d, which are currently very expensive due to being discontinued. The Am5 socket also lets you have future upgradability all the way up to the current best gaming CPU, the Ryzen 7 9850x3d. To upgrade to this is just a CPU swap, you can keep your same motherboard and Ram. AMD has even committed to support the unreleased future CPU generation of Zen 6, which will also be a drop in upgrade to this system.

As for everything else the motherboard has a good enough VRM for all Am5 CPUs, plenty of connectivity with dual USB-C ports. The Case with 9 fans gives great airflow, and a custom dialed fan curve gives quiet performance while the GPU is at 75C and the CPU at 70C under full load. The System is setup will full RGB, and can be changes to any color or pattern through the easy to sue signal RGB software.
