This is a fully referbished and upgraded pc that is now fully able to game. It used to be an office computer but after a few upgrades to both hardware and looks, it has a whole new lease on life. It now has a white case and wood pattern front pannel.
Here is a detailed description of all parts;
Asus B150A motherboard.
Intel i5 6600. Freshly repasted, as to give it the best thermals.
16 Gigabytes (4x4) of ddr4 memory. This amount will ensure your gaming isnt bottlenecked.
Nvidia 1660 Super, manufactured by Asus. Freshly repasted, and I applied new thermal pads.
2 samsung 250 gig ssd drives. The motherbaord has plenty of room left for future storage expansion.
RGB light strips. I bought these brand new specifically for this build. However the controller i got with them doesnt work right. the strips only glow dimmly red. You'll need a new RGB controller to get those working properly.
Now, in case all those spefics mean little to you, i have also tested multiple games and recorded their frame rates. This will give you a more real world idea of the performace of this pc. All games tested are in 1080p Full HD. Frame per second (FPS) values will be presented with the average while gaming, as well as 1% lows. Meaning the lowest frame rates you'll only see 1% of the time.
Arc Raiders 1080p high: Average FPS; 84 1% lows: 50 Pretty good performace. The gpu has more to give, the cpu is the limiting factor here.
Fallout 4 1080p Ultra: Average FPS; 60 1% lows; 59 Butter smooth, realistically you could play this in 1440p with no problems.
Call of Duty Black Ops III 1080p highest: Average FPS; 136 1% lows; 72 Butter smooth, framerate was very competitive.
I also ran the benchmarking software 3DMark. The results of which are shown in pictures. Both results are above average performace in identical hardware. Timespy being particularly close to the world record.
If you want to get into pc gaming on a budget, or perhaps want to gift a pc to someone else, this is a seriously good value. I believe in transparency and honesty. Something much of online sales is lacking. Thats why ive provided as much information about what is in this computer, and how it performs, as possible.
NOTE Jawa didnt have i5-6600 as an option in the spec sheet. In order to post this, i had to pick a model, it says 14600, that is not what is in this pc.
