- Noctua - Surprisingly enough, there’s actually no Noctua themed GPU in here. Noctua has collaborated with GPU manufacturers before and PC builders have designed amazing PCs around that theme, but this build doesn’t need one. Instead, everything inside the Fractal Design North case has Noctua components, or Noctua brown colored components and it looks great. This is the best I’ve ever seen this color design executed without the use of an actual Noctua GPU.
- Performance - Along with the aesthetics, the performance of this build is dialed in as well. There’s a Ryzen 7 5700X and RTX 3080Ti in here which will smoke any game in 1440p. The GPU is also packing 12GB of VRAM which will keep you covered for a few more years, and the extra cores on the CPU will help with content creators or anyone trying to get “real” work done on this PC.
- Custom RAM - If you look real closely, you’ll see that the RAM is actually custom modding work on a normally all-white kit of Gloway DDR4 RAM. This little touch of paint really ties the build together perfectly and it’s so good that you probably didn’t even notice it at first.
Price to Performance Value
This is a rare occurrence where the price to performance value of an aesthetically focused PC is actually dialed in. $1560 is a great price for a high end 1440p gaming PC prebuilt, especially when it’s packing a 5700X and a 3080Ti. First Upgrades
The only thing this build really needs in the near future is more storage. For $1500+ builds we’re starting to see 2TB NVMe drives become the standard, so the 1TB that’s in here will probably be upgraded soon. The buyer will have the choice of adding a 2nd NVMe drive, or swapping out the first.
