As a PC building content creator, I’m personally in a little “pure performance” phase right now, so this new build from PC Lab LLC is really speaking to me. I’ve discovered over the past couple of months that a ton of the PC gaming community simply wants as much FPS per dollar as possible, and this is the perfect build for those types of people. Let’s take a closer look.
Favorite Features:
- CPU and GPU Combo - Both the Ryzen 5 7500F and RX 7900XT are monster price to performance valued parts, and together create the ultimate 1440p gaming experience. PC builders love to use the 7500F because it’s very close to the 7600 level of performance but with a major discount. The 7900XT is also punching above its weight class at the $700 price as well.
- Lian Li O11 Air Mini - It’s great to see some of our prebuilt builders using high end components like this O11 Air Mini case. This is rather unique because the case has a tiny footprint, but can accommodate motherboards up to ATX sized. Don’t quote me on this, but this very well might be one of the smallest ATX compatible cases. It also looks super clean.
- Minimal Aesthetics - Despite not wasting money on aesthetics, this build’s design still comes together to create a very clean, minimal, and all-black look that a lot of people love. This build sitting on top of a wood table top up against a black wall would look “Instagram worthy” and I’d love to see it.
Price to Performance Value:
This is the main reason why this build got featured this week. This 7500F/7900XT combo will not be beat on the prebuilt market any time soon, and this is easily one of the best valued builds on the platform right now. If you’re looking for a build that squeezes out every drop of performance possible, then this is the one to get.
First Upgrades:
Nothing in this build needs upgraded right away, but over time there’s a few routes to take that make sense. If the buyer needs more CPU processing power, then a quick upgrade to a 7800X3D, or even 9000 series (which isn’t out yet) would be pretty easy. The 1TB SSD may fill up as well with a huge game library, so the buyer can purchase a secondary SSD since the motherboard has an additional slot.
Conclusion
I’m a sucker for the pure performance builds that still end up looking clean. This is a top tier 1440p gaming PC prebuilt, and it should sell pretty quickly to anyone looking for some serious value for their hard earned money.
