Tustin Systems just dropped another affordable gaming PC prebuilt on Jawa and this one looks beautiful. This Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 6600 combination is perfect for budget 1080p gaming, and there’s a ton of room to upgrade this PC over the next few years. Let’s take a closer look.

Favorite Features

  • Upgradeability - I’ll talk about which specific upgrades I would do first to this PC, but the ability to upgrade the overall build is what I really like about this PC. The Ryzen 5 3600 is a fantastic budget price to performance CPU, but when it’s paired with a B450 motherboard like it is here, you have a huge amount of upgrade potential for the future. The seller also included a 650W power supply which is more than enough for the RX 6600, so a GPU upgrade can be performed easily as well.
  • Aesthetics - Yes, it’s another O11 Mini knockoff, but I love how this case looks in all white. The front glass panel with the 3 RGB fans matched perfectly to the RGBs in the RAM looks amazing here. I also love when sellers take the time to paint the stock Ryzen coolers (I do this myself often) and it ties the entire color scheme together. This is a great looking build, especially for the price point.
  • CPU and GPU - Like I already mentioned, this is a fantastic budget combination of performance components for 1080p gaming. You won’t be playing every game in Ultra settings with this setup, but you’ll at least be able to play every game on the market in 1080p and have a solid gaming experience.

Price to Performance Value

As we know, Jawa.GG is a very competitive platform and there’s a lot of amazing price to performance prebuilts right now. In terms of RX 6600 builds, there are a few currently posted that are a bit cheaper than this one, but when you consider both performance and aesthetics, I think the build we’re looking at today is the best complete package in terms of value.

First Upgrades

The performance upgradeability is what attracts me the most to this build. The CPU can easily be upgraded to a 5600, 5600X3D, or whatever AM4 chip that you want. The RX 6600 can also be upgraded to whatever can be supported by 650W. Essentially, this build can be purchased now and it’ll provide you with a solid foundation for upgrading over the next few years. Aside from performance, there are 3 quick aesthetic tweaks that I’d recommend making as soon as this gaming PC gets unboxed. First, I would rotate the Ryzen Cooler so that the tab is up top instead of on the left, which looks a little funky. I would also recommend getting a <$5 SSD enclosure because the blue and red SSD is sticking out like a sore thumb. Finally, since the seller is hiding a power supply in the back with ketchup and mustard cables, I would recommend using zip ties and managing them well enough so that you can’t see the funky PSU colors from the front. If you look closely at the pictures, you can see those ketchup and mustard colors peaking so I would do your best to hide those.

Conclusion

Overall, I love this as a starter gaming PC for anyone looking to jump into PC gaming on a budget. This is a build with a ton of flexibility for both performance and aesthetics, and the upgrade potentially is almost limitless.
