Check out this Design on the Redline!

Today’s feature is a classic PC flipping build named Redline III featuring an AMD RX 5700XT GPU and Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. This build is perfect for those looking for value and performance, with the RX 5700XT providing similar performance to the RTX 3060, plus overclocking potential, and a cool color scheme to boot. The seller is even throwing in an extra goodie, so don’t miss out on this great deal!

Favorite Features

  • RX 5700XT – I love how the seller worded this one, “Don’t let an AMD Graphics Card deter you away from this system, as this RTX 3060 equivalent…” Any experienced PC flipper will know that Nvidia systems usually sell quicker, and you sometimes need to give potential buyers a bit of a nudge when it comes to AMD builds. He’s right though, the RX 5700XT is similar in performance compared to the RTX 3060, as well as newer AMD cards like the 6600XT and 6650XT. Don’t let it deter you away!
  • Overclockability – Apparently my spell checker is telling me that’s not a word, but you all know what I mean. This system is built for tinkerers that want to get the most out of their money as both the Ryzen 5 3600 and the RX 5700XT have some wiggle room for free performance! The case is also perfectly setup for enough airflow to keep temperatures down for both components, and that CPU is even water cooled with the EVGA 240mm AIO which you love to see.
  • Color Scheme – I’ll admit, I’m a sucker for red/black/white gaming PCs as it’s a proven Tier S color scheme. I love how the build features just a hint of white from the ASRock B450 Steel Legend motherboard and the cable extensions. These white accents really make the build pop much more than just an all black and red system and this looks amazing for the price.

Price to Performance Value

You have to look at the value of this build build based on the RX 5700XT’s performance which I described above. Although it’s a generation older, this is basically a mid range RTX 3060 or RX 6600XT level of system and for $750 that means it’s priced pretty competitively. RTX 3060 builds are currently priced between $850-$1000 on our site, so you’ll definitely save money with a build like this if you’re hunting for value.

First Upgrades

Not much is needed specifically in a build like this, so the first upgrades will come down to personal preference and where the buyer wants more out of the build. There’s room to add another M.2 drive for more SSD storage, there’s 2 more RAM slots to boost up to 32GB, and the Ryzen 5 3600 could be upgraded very easily and remain cool with the installed AIO.

Conclusion

This is a classic PC flipping build and I hope it’ll sell soon. Again, it takes a little longer to sell AMD builds like this, especially with a generation old GPU, but whoever ends up snagging this will enjoy playing in 1080p with higher settings. And real quickly it’s worth mentioning that the seller is including a free PCI-e WiFi adapter, bonus points for sure!
