Holiday Deadpool Build Anyone?

We’re looking at a pretty festive gaming PC prebuilt today because PC Lab LLC just posted this Holiday Deadpool one and it’s worth taking a look at. Not only do we have a unique color scheme here, but this prebuilt is also packing very powerful and affordable hardware inside for 1080p gaming. Let’s take a look.

Favorite Features

  • Sapphire Pulse RX 5700XT - If you know anything about me, then you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of the RX 5700XT just in general, but also this specific model as well. In straight up 1080p performance without any upscaling, ray tracing, or anything of the sort, the RX 5700XT competes directly with the RTX 3060 and in some games it actually beats it. Despite launching a few years ago, this is still a very powerful graphics card and when it’s inside a prebuilt gaming PC, you know you’re getting your money’s worth.
  • Holiday Deadpool - One of my favorite aspects of PC building is the ability to theme out the builds and make them relevant with whatever’s going on in the world. I think it’s a very underestimated tactic for PC builders and sellers, but it also provides a creative outlet for people like us as well. Not only is the entire build red, white, and black to match perfectly with Deadpool, but the seller also themed the cable extensions to match with the holiday sweater that the Deadpool Funko Pop is wearing. I love the attention to detail.
  • Ryzen 5 3500X - Now this isn’t a CPU that you hear about often, and some of our more beginner audience has possibly never heard about it before. The Ryzen 5 3500X is essentially a Ryzen 5 3600 without the hyper-threading, so it still has 6 cores but only 6 threads. Make no mistake though, this Ryzen 3000 series chip is still plenty capable enough for 1080p gaming going into 2024, and it pairs perfectly with GPUs like the 5700XT. When the buyer does eventually feel the need to upgrade, it will be a pretty simple process since this build is on the AM4 platform as well.

Price to Performance Value

The seller PC Lab LLC continuously cranks out some of the best aesthetically pleasing price to performance builds and this one is no exception. This isn’t the cheapest RX 5700XT build available on Jawa right now (PC Lab LLC actually has another one at $695) but this is still a really valuable option if you are vibing with the Deadpool color scheme.

First Upgrades

The storage situation in this build is a little funky, so this will probably be the first upgraded part in the near future. Currently there’s 2 SSDs (500GB NVMe and 256GB SATA) so the next upgrade should be a 1TB or even a 2TB NVMe drive. After that I would recommend upgrading the CPU.

Conclusion

This Ryzen 5 3500X and RX 5700XT gaming PC prebuilt is packing some festive holiday swag and it would be a great starter PC for anyone looking to jump into the world of PC gaming. You can certainly trust PC Lab LLC which is one of our top sellers, and this build has some upgrade options in the future if you value that aspect of the world of PC gaming.
