Free Upgrade on this RTX 3070 Ti Gaming PC!

One of our sellers Hobbyist Computers recently posted this gaming PC with a 12600K and RTX 3060 Ti, but he’s recently upgraded it with a 3070 Ti at no additional cost. Now it’s rocking some incredible value. Both the price to performance and aesthetics are now dialed in, so this gaming PC prebuilt is definitely one to consider in the $1000-$1200 range.

Favorite Features

  • GPU Upgrade - The seller explains at the bottom of their posting that they previously had a 3060 Ti (and a 550W PSU) but they recently got a great deal on a 3070 Ti so they made the switch. I absolutely love to hear sellers making adjustments like this, especially if a build didn’t sell as quickly as they wanted it to or if they got a better deal with different components. This is now without a doubt a top tier option on Jawa right now, and I’m sure we’ll see this switch pay off for them big time here soon.
  • SAMA ARGB01 - I believe this is the 2nd time I’m featuring a build with this Sama case, the design is just stunning when paired with the right components. I love the overall layout and shape, the unique PSU basement, and all of the components inside match the case as well. I would have loved to see more lighting in the build photos though, these slightly dark pictures aren’t doing the aesthetics of this build justice. We have a guide here about how to take your gaming PC photography to the next level.
  • The Extras - Aside from the top tier performance combination of the CPU and GPU, I’m also a big fan of the 1TB Samsung 980 NVMe SSD, the 32GB of Silicon Power RAM clocked at 6000MHz, and even the Gigabyte B760M Aorus Elite AX is a great choice as well.

Price to Performance Value

What’s crazy is that this isn’t even the cheapest RTX 3070 Ti gaming PC on Jawa right now. Our platform is jam packed with these mid ranged $950-$1200 builds and several of them have the 3070 Ti right now. Out of all the picks, this one would indeed be my top choice for price to performance, but be sure to check out the other models available before you instantly pull the trigger.

First Upgrades

Nothing needs upgraded right away here, but a year or two from now the buyer will certainly have some options. That Intel i5 12600K will be able to scale up to a 14th Gen i7 if they wanted to, and this build is also primed for a quick and easy GPU swap whenever the 3070 Ti can’t hang in 1440p in a few years.

Conclusion

This is a beautiful design from Hobbyist Computers and after the 3070 Ti upgrade, it’s a beast of a rig for sure. If you’re in the market for a mid ranged gaming PC prebuilt, then definitely take a look at this one and see for yourself why it’s worth the attention.
