Bay Computers is at it again because they just dropped this Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 3060Ti gaming PC that’s packing some serious value (and aesthetics) for the money. This is a perfect 1080p gaming PC prebuilt for anyone looking to jump into PC gaming, so let’s take a closer look.
- RTX 3060Ti - We’re definitely getting to the point where RTX 3000 series GPUs are starting to appear like an older graphics card. They definitely aren’t actually old of course, but 4000 series GPUs have been out for long enough that they’ve certainly become the new “norm” for most people shopping for a prebuilt. However, don’t let this 3060Ti fool you. Despite being a generation old, this beast is still more powerful than Nvidia’s newest RTX 4060, and it’ll play absolutely any game in 1080p with higher quality settings.
- DIYPC Q3 - DIYPCs have also been dropping some bangers lately in the case department, and this one is no exception. Although they do obviously use slightly cheaper materials compared to more expensive models, cases like the Q3 look the part of a much higher end case and I specifically love the design of this one. This case allows gamers to get that “fish tank” sort of look that everyone is after right now, all while not breaking the bank.
- Clean Aesthetics - Yes, we get it. Aesthetics are what I’m after during these Friday Features. I absolutely love to see when sellers like Bay Computers can combine a ton of price to performance value and also not sacrifice in the aesthetics department. This gaming PC prebuilt is completely dialed in aesthetically, and there’s a ton of customization on the color scheme with the RGB fans.
Price to Performance Value
Considering that the RTX 3060Ti is 6% better on average in 1080p compared to the RTX 4060, you’re getting a lot of value with this prebuilt. Most RTX 4060 prebuilts from the bigger manufacturers are going for over $1000 still, so at $829 this PC is definitely a steal. On Jawa there’s actually no other RTX 3060Ti build that are cheaper than this one, but Bay Computers does have a few other models listed at the same price which are worth checking out as well.
The Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 3060Ti is already a solid 1080p gaming combination, so I wouldn’t upgrade the performance until you’re ready for a 1440p overhaul. Before that though, it would be beneficial to upgrade to 32GB of RAM by simply buying another 2x8GB kit (match the kit currently in there), and feel free to upgrade to a bigger SSD if you need the space for a big game library.
This is a rock solid 1080p gaming PC that’s at a great price with dialed in aesthetics. Bay Computers is definitely in their stride right now with the mid ranged builds, so be sure to check out their other options as well if you’re currently in the market for a gaming PC prebuilt.
