If I See THIS GPU in a Build, It’s Getting Featured

Zen Computers might have figured out the Friday Feature formula on this one, other sellers should take notes. This gaming PC prebuilt is called the Sea Nymph and it’s packing a serious punch in 1080p gaming for an actually affordable price. There’s also some things specifically about this listing that I love, so fellow Jawa sellers should dissect this one like I’m about to do.

Favorite Features:

  • RX 5700XT - It’s no secret that I love AMD’s RX 5700 XT. If you don’t already know, this is one of the best “bang for your buck” graphics cards on the used market right now. It directly competes with the much more expensive RTX 3060, and it even wins in most of the titles. It provides a super smooth 1080p High/Ultra gaming experience at a fraction of the cost compared to the newer GPUs. Also shoutout to Zen Computers for including a video that I made about the 5700 XT in the listing, I’m trying to remain unbiased here.
  • Sale Listing - I love how much of the experience Zen Computers is trying to sell in this listing, not just the spec sheet. As experienced PC sellers will tell you, some of the casual PC gaming audience (the people buying prebuilts) don’t even fully understand half of what a spec sheet even means. They’re more interested in the experience this PC will provide them, and this listing sells just that. Zen Computers talks about various FPS numbers you’ll get in the popular games, how versatile the build is for upgradeability in the future, and how much RGB customization the components provide. This is how you sell. (Think about a car salesman. They don’t sell you on the model of the brakes or the torque rating. They sell you on the experience of driving the car)
  • Aesthetics - Per usual, aesthetics are going to make it on to most builds that I feature, and this one is no different. I actually really enjoy the minimal route that the seller took here because it’s indeed white with some extra accessories like cable extensions, but it’s not over-the-top and it still looks clean. The buyer will have some RGB customization with the fans and RAM, but the build isn’t exactly screaming “I’m a Gaming Computer!!!” and it looks pretty elegant.

Price to Performance Value:

The combination of the Ryzen 5 5500 and RX 5700 XT is the pinnacle of value when it comes to 1080p gaming. Sure, that 5700 XT isn’t brand new anymore, but this combo can play every single one of the ultra demanding titles right now without an issue. For $800, this is some of the best value you’ll find on the prebuilt gaming PC market.

First Upgrades:

Like the posting explains, there’s several options that you can take with this build, but nothing is needed right away. There’s a good chance that the buyer will need more than 1TB of storage in the near future, so they can easily swap to a 2TB or higher SSD. The B450M motherboard also allows for easy CPU upgrading if they want to maximize the AM4 platform opportunities. And whenever they’re ready for 1440p gaming, the GPU can of course be swapped out, but they’ll want to upgrade the power supply to go along with it as well.

Conclusion

The RX 5700 XT, mentioning a ZTT video, and crafting up a terrific sales page are exactly how you get featured on this newsletter. Sure, this may not be the most unbiased newsletter on the internet, but hopefully this build gave you some guidance on how to look for an affordable 1080p gaming PC, or provided some insight on how to properly sell a PC as well. Great job Zen Computers, I’m excited to see the next one!
