I upgraded my laptop so that is why I am selling this. Laptop has some cosmetic damage as you can see in the pics but overall has been well maintained since 2019. This laptop is also very upgradable as you can take this thing apart like a charm and upgrade your ram or storage. WARNING-THE CURRENT STATE OF THIS LAPTOP IS WORKING BUT SEVERELY NEEDS BATTERY CHANGE. CANNOT HOLD A SINGLE PERCENT OF CHARGE!!! GOOD LAPTOP FOR KIDS! BUT NEEDS BATTERY CHANGE!!! CHEAP CHEAP PRICE

**HP Spectre x360 13-4003dx**

This laptop was kept in good condition, with only 1 visible scratch on the bottom panel. There are minor scuffs and dings on the edges. The *enlarged glass* touchpad and the 1.7mm travel keyboard are excellent for typing. The keyboard is very clean because a silicone cover was used (included) to prevent dirt and liquid from entering. Side buttons show worn paint.

Battery capacity is at 65% with 507 cycles according to HP diagnostics. The battery has been known to be unreliable such that at one point did not work without the power adapter plugged in. However, at the time of writing, the battery was tested to hold charge multiple times.

Note 1: If the Battery Management System (BMS) stops charging and the charging indicator shows white, hold the power button until the indicator displays orange to reset the internal BMS. 

Note 2: Do not apply pressure or twist the chassis when closed. This may temporarily affect touchpad or keyboard functionality due to stress on the internal connections.

Lore: This laptop almost became E-waste after a faulty capacitor blew, rendering the internal charging circuit useless on the last day of a school term. It was eventually repaired months later and continued to work for 5+ years. CPU repasted at least once. The device was covered with carbon fiber wrap to prevent major scratches. Thermal pads were installed on the copper pipe to improve heat transfer to back plate.

Optional Software Hacks:
1. Install PWMHelper if you are flicker sensitive to increase the PWM frequency.
2. Undervolt the CPU core + cache by an offset of -49.8mV with Throttlestop.
3. Use Windows Precision Touchpad drivers made a difference over stock.
