Most units are brand new, and some are lightly used - but cleaned by hand. 

These were received in a large batch of fans, about 50 fans - most of the fans had bad LEDs, but some were fine. Some of the fans were fixed by reconnecting the cables for the LEDs, as there is a cable that can sometimes come loose connecting the outside ring. 

The company that we purchased these from would build systems, and if any of the fans had bad LEDs they would remove the fans and the controller aside for recycling and use another set of fans - they didn't have time to troubleshoot individual fans. Sometimes the controller was bad, and sometimes the fan was. 

We have individually tested each individual fan to be sure. 

As a result, these fans are being sold as USED - Like new.

These fans are really quiet but aren't necessarily the highest air flow - but they are very quiet and look nice.

THREE ThermalTake Riing 12 LED 120mm Fans

Thermaltake Riing 40.6 CFM 120 mm Fan

These fans were in constant use for less than 6 months on an open frame mining rig.  They were an excellent choice for that use case because their noise-to-performance ratio is *fantastic.*  These shine when it comes to quietly moving lots of air in an unrestricted scenario and aren't recommended for static pressure radiator use cases.  That being said, these are very solid, very well-built fans with with noise-dampening rubber inserts on all corners.  Original mount screws and "low noise adapter" are included in each box.  If you aren't a "fan" of noise, then these are a good fit.  I mean, 1400 RPM / 83 CFM @25.3 dB (A) and still moving nearly 66 CFM with 1100 RPM @ 19 dB (A) with the adapter is nearly silent.  That's outstanding IMO.  I never thought to use the low noise adapters as they were quiet enough for me in their OG configuration.  Though they are not PWM, they are still pretty stellar.  

These are difficult to find now and honestly hate to see them go but I just don't have any use for them now in my current build state.  Considering the MTBF on these, they are still in their prime with lots of lots and lots of air to move yet!!!!
