Tiny but Mighty: The Ultimate ITX Prebuilt Gaming PC for 1440p Performance

I don’t get too many opportunities to feature an ITX prebuilt gaming PC, so I’ll definitely take advantage today. Nicknamed “Baby Bunny” this Ryzen 7 7700X and RTX 4070Ti prebuilt is rocking some serious 1440p gaming performance inside a tiny form factor. Let’s take a look at what’s all inside here.

Favorite Features:

  • DeepCool CH160 - Sore subject I know, but DeepCool is actually not legally allowed to sell products in the United State anymore. This ITX case is one of the reasons why this is rough news for gamers, because it’s an amazing option. I personally made a video dedicated to this tiny SFF ITX case, and the sub $100 price was incredible. It’s packing a very unique airflow friendly design, and most people love the carrying handle on top. This would make for a perfect LAN party PC because it’s easy to travel with.
  • Cooling - The seller setup the airflow of this case to achieve maximum efficiency. Not only did they position the SFX power supply on the side to fit a 120mm fan up front, but they are also using a 2-fan CPU cooler and an extra exhaust fan in the back. With the open panels all around the PC, this should achieve some really nice temperatures even with the high end hardware inside.
  • CPU and GPU - The Ryzen 7 7700X and RTX 4070Ti is a fantastic combo for 1440p gaming. The 4070Ti isn’t super popular anymore because it got replaced by the 4070 Super and 4070Ti Super, but it’s still a very powerful alternative for PC gamers.

Price to Performance Value:

Gamers that are interested in a small form factor ITX build typically aren’t looking to squeeze out every last FPS for their dollar. The “ITX Tax” always needs to be paid with the more expensive case, motherboard, and power supply. Despite all that, for $1800 this is still competitively priced for a 1440p Ultra style of prebuilt. This is a much more fun option to go with compared to a traditional all-black ATX sized prebuilt from the bigger manufacturers.

First Upgrades:

The only weak point of this build is the SSD. For an $1800 PC, a 1TB MP33 is a bit awkward. I’d recommend upgrading that to a 2TB Gen 4 drive first, but that absolutely doesn’t need to be done right away.

Conclusion

I love to see when sellers have the courage to attempt making a profit with the small form factor builds. It’s certainly more difficult because of the “ITX Tax” but this build simply looks incredible and I hope that it goes to a new PC gamer’s home soon.
